I want to stream again

I’ve had this list of old games I want to play. Many of them are games I played a lot when I was growing up but never finished. I wanted to stream them to give me a reason to play through but it never came up and some of these games would need a lot of setup to stream. The one main thing I needed was a working GameCube so I could use the game boy player to play Game Boy games. But my GameCube can’t read disc anymore and I could never fix my it.

I’ve recently felt the need to stream. I guess I need to use the power of my new PC. So I went back to my old tumblr post and found the list of games I wanted to stream.

Not on the list is Pokemon. I want to play through Leaf Green again. I also want to finish Shining Pearl. I own it but haven’t finished it yet.

I also wanted to play Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins on Game Boy. I never bet Wario at the end. I also want to play through Golden Sun on Game Boy Advance.

I’ve started to play Golden Sun a number of times since it came out but I would put it down for a few years and forget what’s happening and start over again.

I also want to play Joe and Mac on SNES. I think it’s called Caveman Ninja in Japan. Played this game a lot as a kid but never made it far.

I also got stuck and never finished Zelda: A Link to the Past, it’s a SNES game but I played the GBA one with FourSwords on it.  These are all games on the Nintendo Switch Online service. So I don’t need to worry about getting a GameCube to work, or a Super Nintendo.

And I’ve never finished Donkey Kong 64. It’s not on NSO so I guess I still need a N64.

I also want to play through Sonic CD, never played through the whole thing, only played it a handful of times. Maybe I’ll play through a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog? I’ve wanted to play through Sonic Origins. It’s all the original games remastered. I’ve never beaten Sonic 2 so I should do that.

I also got Okami for my Bday a few years ago, I should play through that too. So I have a big list to go though.

I hear streamers complain that they feel they can’t play a game without streaming it because what’s the point? I sort of feel the same way. I’m not a full time streamer like them but I do have fun when I stream games. I did a play through of Pokémon Blue a few years ago and had a few unique viewers come through and watch. It was fun. I also haven’t made money off of Twitch in a while.

Nintendo just had their Switch 2 announcement and showed off a bunch of games. DK64 hasn’t been announced but I am hoping it comes out on NSO soon. I want to stream our Sunday Night Hammer Fights. Maybe I’ll remember to do that if I start streaming regularly. Find me on Twitch.tv/collision28!

I'm not a writer. But I like to make stuff. 3D printing, videos, podcasts, websites, electronics, painting, or anything if it's interesting enough. I like playing fighting games, puzzle games, board games, card games. Competing is fun.
